How to create a wedding photo shoot?
Lights- Camera- Action!
A photo shoot of a mock wedding is a great way to bring that certain vision to life. At Prop House, we partnered with Powerscourt Hotel, Cat Lane Weddings, Amulet Events, MBZ International, 1st Option Models, Making Faces Make-up, Aviary Lane hair salon, Benetti Menswear, Beau Bride and The Flower Boutique to bring a wedding photo shoot to life.
To help you create your own wedding photo shoot, here is a list of the wedding props we used:
- Pipe & Drape
At Prop House, we have a variety of pipe and drape that can be customized for your photo shoot, wedding or event. The colours range from red to black to white or royal blue. The pipe and drape can be styled very elegantly with uplighters or led fairy lights.
- Large Lanterns
Lanterns are a beautiful way to create a romantic scene or to add atmosphere to a venue or outdoor setting. At Prop House, we stock various types of lanterns, including large chrome lanterns, glass lanterns and vintage white lanterns. These lanterns can all be used for a variety of events and celebrations. Putting candles into the lanterns usually adds a magical effect to your event.
- Vintage Suitcase
The beautiful selection of vintage suitcases worked very well for this wedding photo shoot. The suitcases are very useful for putting things on them such as a flowers bouquet. For this photo shoot, we stacked the suitcases on top of one another to create this wedding scene.
- Wedding Furniture
Various different types of wedding furniture are stocked here at Prop House. For this wedding photo shoot, we used Chivari Chairs with Ivory pads and a Mahogany Lounge area set. These two types of wedding furniture are our most popular sets. They are both very simple, comfortable and elegant for any venue or photo shoot.
- Flowers
Flowers are a great way to add vibrant colour to your photo shoot or event. Colourful flower boutiques are so effective against a white wedding dress and can produce really vivid images.
- Chandelier
A crystal chandelier is a very elegant touch to any venue. For this wedding photo shoot, the crystal chandelier hung from a tree in the woods of Powerscourt. It really captured the attention of both the models and the photographer.
